ELECTRONEGATIVITY

Tune: I Say a Little Prayer for You
From: Dione Warwick

By Danielle Condon, Ashley Bonay and Lisa Malishchak
Northwest Area School District
Shickshinny, PA

Electronegativity
Just what does that mean to me-ee
Electron attractability

The greater the difference
The more polar the bond is baby
Electronegativity

Electrons pull closer
That's how it must be
To form a compound
That's bonded together chemically
Ionic covalent
You must agree
It's all due to
Electronegativity

Electronegativity

Electronegativity

Ionic covalent
You must agree
Polar nonpolar
You will see
Together together
That's how it must be
To form a compound
That's bonded
Chemically

My students believe me
Believe me that this is the way
That they must stay
Until that day
They break away

Statement:

We are students at Northwest Area High School in Shickshinny, Pa. We have the same crazy music teacher and chemistry sensei that Dave, Mark and Mike have. It's not easy !!!! Anyway, we joined the Neutron Project Club and decided to try our hand at a chem song. Even though we argue all the time, we were able to con Dave and Mark into helping us with our song. Not only that , but we decided to call ourselves the Rangerettes, cause we are the Northwest Rangers. Hope you enjoy the song.
