Polymers are Everywhere

Long, long chains go straight to my brain,
When I think about polymer fame.

Polymers are everywhere:Planes, trains and even Hanes underwear.
Don't you dare stare but I think they're in my hair.
But hey, that's normal so why should I care?

So exactly what do polymers do?
They make things better you polymer fool.
They're long chains of molecules that are never ending.
However, you may often find them bending.
In many different colors, shapes, and sizes,
especially if they're clothing fibers.

There are many kinds of polymers with different names.
Some are even used in sports games.
Carbon fibers in a tennis racket makes it so when the ball comes you can smack it.
Polyethylene, Polyisoprene, Polyurethene what's it all mean?
Several are even as common as protein.
Poly(Vinyl Chloride), Poly(Vinyl Oxide), Poly(Vinyl Floride), and Poly(Vinyl Sulfide).

Polymers have been in every generation.
Inside the speakers when King adressed the nation.
Through every single fashion occasiopn,
But unlik the tie-die invasion they survive fashion sensation.
I bet polymers been around since creation.

I think about polymers all the time,
Even when I bust a rhyme.
